Lunch Box

I havn’t wrote on my blog in a while because my teacher said we didn’t have to do these weekly posts but know we are writing again so i will have lots more posts coming. So I was just on the Dvice blog and I seen how they made a usb powered lunch box that allows you to heat what ever you packed. It has like a mini element in it. It can heat up too 140°F which is pretty good for being portable. It can’t cook a meal but keep it warm and toasty. I think this is a great idea because then work places wont have to buy microwaves for people to heat up there food. I think that it would also be very profitable because lots of people that work don’t have the time to find something to heat your meal up and it gives you more of a variety of what you bring to work.

New RSS blogs

Mr. Fisher told us that we had to find good blogs that we can subscribe to and get good info to write about like the other blogs that we write about every week. I found 3 good blogs, 1 are about 1, 1 about news and 1 about technology. The first blog I found is called Make  it is a blog that talks about inventions that people have created I think it is a good blog for anyone to check out if there into stuff like building or just want to see some cool  stuff people made. Make also makes little magazine books that look lik the website it is a pretty cool site. Another blog I found was blogsofwarwhich is a blog that talks about the recent war updates like how they spent there holidays and what they are doing in Iraq just basic stuff like that. I think people should check this site out because lots of people dont know anything about what happening in the wars. The last one is called mongabay. It is about the rainforest and news about the world I think people should look at it because it’s a great blog to learn new stuff.

In the summer id go to the dunes and ride around there. It’s $10000 dollars but id buy it if i had that kind of money. Yeah this tank is sweet.sweetness

Altrec Mountains (wow update) 2

So lately on World of  Warcraft I have become a member of the horde. I am pretty much giving up my whole year of work on the alliance side. I have a level 75 blood elf paladin in the realm of Altrec mountains. I play with my friends Nick, Dustin, and Tyler and some people I met with. Nick has a level 53 troll shaman, and a level 53 blood elf paladin. Dustin plays on his brothers 80 orc hunter, and 80 death and on his account he has a level 73 orc shaman. Tyler has a level 72 blood elf hunter. I have being playing that guy for about 4 months. But back to my paladin, I am speced into protection which means I have more health, more armor, and more defence. This makes it so I can be attacked longer than a different spec would. Here are some screen shots of  my characters stats and what he looks like

BattleBots with a Twist

So I was just on the Dvice blog and I started to read about this battle bot with a paintball gun on it. When I first seen this I was like WOW thats cwazy. I think that it’s pretty sweet and I wish I had one because then i would be shooting everyone up. I think that this is some new technology that could change the way battle bots will fight abd maybe even change how robots will be made. The armys are using them because they are cheap and they act as bots to go into rooms or places to check to see if people are armed or there. Another thing there using them for is to check for bombs and land mines. That’s a pretty good idea but maybe they should put weights of it and a ak 47 that might be better. :P well see ya later….here is a picture of itromp-gallery-04romp-paintball-battlebot

What’s Going on in our Classroom

ffadsfsThis weeks school post is about what we are doing in class instead of a post about something on Dvice, or afrigadget. So latly we have just finish up social studies, doing a what could we expect in the furture project for L.A. In social studies, we are doing adding and subtracting fractions in math and cooking in home E.C. In social studies we just finished up stuff on the worlds climate and how cities are ran and what we it takes to make a city run well. In L.A. the project is to thing off something then think of stuff that can improve it. We have to draw a picture and write a bit about it. In math we just started so were doing basic stuff like 2 2/3 + 3 4/8 =. and in home E.C. we are cooking good but healthy like chicken with peppers and peas. Yesterday we had to make questions for our social studies test and the more of our questions we got on the test the better our mark would be….1 question on the test = 3% higher mark. Skyler, Hien and me got 2 of our on so we got 6% extra on the test. So far school has been pretty good, we’ve done some pretty fun stuff and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year. The only bad thing is EXAMS. They are alot to study for and our worth 10% of our overall marks. An exam is a test that covers all the stuff we did over half the year. We have one in January and June. Luckily the exam in June only covers the stuff we did after our exam in January.

Blogging and RSS Feeds

Today in class we were talking about how we are using our blogs and our igoogle feeds. One blogs there is basic stuff like blog rolls to link to your friends blogs or anything like that. RSS feeds are like Dvice, Afrigadget. With blogging writing style and your content determine how many hits and comments you get. Comments are a big part of blogging they are reminders to tell you to write more or spell check or just to say that some likes your blog. Comments help you alot when it comes to blogging. When I look back at this year I think I could of wrote a little more and checked to make sure everything made sense. Our RRS feeds on our Igoogle are used for our social studies text book. We have blogs on it so we can go and see recently posted posts. Our Igoogle accounts can have lots of stuff on them like widgets, games, horoscopes, post feeds. Looking back on this I think I could of suscribed to more blogs and checked them out more. kdgfkdsgfsdfdf1

No Child Left Behind

I was just on this site called Natavillage and I read about how the children there are getting to go to school outside because they have so many new people coming into Nata. They don’t have any room so they are doing school outside with a giant chunk of chalk board. I think this is a great idea, there is no down side to it. All these children will be getting a education. Which will surly help them in there life. They will learn how to read and write so if they want to become a teacher or something that they can which is great. On the site I wasn’t provide with much information on this but I still got a good take on what they are doing and how it is working. Everyday more children are requesting to get into school. If they didn’t have a education of some kind they wouldn’t really be able to talk with people or write somone a letter or anything like that even if they get a year or so of education they will be able to do basic things that we do.

New Technology for Surgery

I was just on the Dvice blog and I read about how in 2 and a half years they will be able to try out an artificial heart on people to see if it will work. This heart is made out of chemically treated animal tissue and it will be fully functional. The heart will change lives because around 20,000 people a year need a heart transplant.  I think that this is a great idea because it will allow people to live longer lives and if they can get a heart working I’m sure they could probably get a liver or lungs or something else to. It’s also a good idea because with heart transplants you need a real heart so we won’t have to worry about that. The only down side to an idea like this is that it would probably cost quite a lot of money. This will be great for people. This is a very good idea because it will save lots of peoples lives. There probably hasn’t been anything like this in a long time. This kind of reminds me of cloning.
