OK I was just on this site and i was reading on how there making bridges for monkeys to get across stuff like roads. When i first seen this I was like what? But I think it’s a pretty good idea it’s good because it will help protect monkeys for sure and you don’t have to worry about hitting them. There are these monkeys in a place called Kenya and they are an in dangered species. These monkeys are one of the rarest in Kenya . So that’s one reason why there making these bridges. They think that the bridges will be about $500 for all the bridges. They are just made out of rope pretty much. Some of the monkeys are confused what the bridge is so they are still running across the roads. Ways to get them on the bridge might be to put food up on the bridges then the monkeys will go up there then after a while they’ll figure out that they can get across the road but then the bad thing about that is the monkeys wont scavenge for food they’ll just go to the bridge to eat then they will think of the bridge as a food source and will most likely die if we take the food away. I think that the bridge is a great idea but they got to figure out a way to get monkeys on the bridge. But what if a major predator figure out that monkeys were going on the bridge then maybe the predators would just wait at one side of the rope until monkeys came. Or if the bridge broke then people might get hurt if they run there car into it. The monkeys aren’t the only animals using this bridge they have also found that possums have been using the bridges at night.
